Weekend getaway with my parents
For the past few years, the Do Dynasty (inside joke) have planned several weekend getaways to camp. Unfortunately, this year the weekend we had planned to go camping was cancelled due to conflicting schedules. So lucky for us, inside of being out in the scorching heat (I am not a fan of heat and humidity), we bundled up and explored around San Francisco.

Monday, August 15th
We did a lot of sightseeing today.
Lombard street - the World's Crookedest Street. We were not able to find parking twice so we don't have any cool pictures here.
Palace of the Fine Arts - really great place for pictures, lots of free parking on flat ground.
Haight-Ashbury - I really wanted a picture but no parking so we only drove through.
Painted ladies - a must see for Full House lovers. We even saw one of the owners was walking his golden retriever! Comet, is that you?
San Tung - the best fried chicken wings ever. My mouth is seriously salivating for their not so dry Original Dry Fried chicken. Three of my friends recommended this place and we were going to go eat here the night before but the wait was too long and with Viet parents, they were not going to wait. We got in right away for lunch this day and I wished I had ordered some wings for to-go. So delicious. Highly recommend.
San Francisco Bay Cruise from Pier 39 to Golden Gate Bridge back to Pier 39
Hog Island Oyster Co. for dinner.
Entrees: 2 dozen oyster bar mix, Oyster Po' Boy, Cioppino and clam chowder
Humphry Slocombe for dessert. Nick and I both got the Secret Breakfast and it was AMAZING. Another highly recommend place.

On the way home, we took a detour and stopped by Pismo Beach and the sand dunes.
